Following release of the 2019 album Strictly Platonic, we released a steady stream of singles in 2020 (with the virus, this turned out to be the only thing we could do).
I wanted the artwork to follow a cohesive template, but allow room for the songs’ individual personalities to shine through. This style, with the black backgrounds, bridged the gap between the black and pink Strictly Platonic aesthetic, and whatever may come next. I was inspired by vintage movie posters, using high-contrasting shadows as a base, and letting custom typography loudly announce the title of the song.
